A similar method of copying Fireworks images and HTML into an HTML document is to export the images to a folder in the local copy of your Web site, then paste the HTML and JavaScript directly into an HTML editor.
To export and paste Fireworks images and HTML into an HTML editor:
| 1 | In Fireworks, choose File > Export. |
| 2 | In the Export dialog box, choose a destination for the images. |
| Ideally, export the images to where they will reside in your final site. | |
| 3 | Choose Clipboard from the HTML destination pop-up menu. |
| 4 | In the HTML editor, open the page where you want to place the Fireworks images. |
| 5 | Click where you want the content to appear, and then choose Edit > Paste. |
| The HTML from Fireworks is pasted into the HTML file. When copying into Macromedia Dreamweaver 3 or Adobe GoLive, all HTML and JavaScript associated with the Fireworks files you exported is copied into the HTML file, and all the links to the images are updated. | |
